Just got my new Canon S230 from Dell

Bought it last week and it just came today. $280 shipped including case (which hasn't arrived). I like the size of it, which easily fits into any pocket comfortably. Picture quality is great (especially compared to the free Intel camera I got a while ago). Sample1 Sample2

Case is very snug. I don't use the belt loop at all, you would have to pass the belt through it since there's no way to disconnect one end to hook onto a belt. There's an opening on the top to pass through the wrist strap. I'm not sure how much protection this case will give your camera in the event you drop it (most likely very little). For the S230 and S200, it'll protect your metal finish from scratches.

Got my S230 from Dell with 128MB CF for $330 May 1st. It's been absolutely great, but I havent gotten around to printing any pics yet. The size!! there are times I've forgotten I've been carrying my camera around with me.

in fact i just put my s330 on fleabay.

i ordered both the s400 and the s230 but ended up liking the s230 more

cost 308 but i get a 50 dollar amazon GC along with it so i like to look at it as a 268 dollar purhcase....

Pic of the case? I can't really tell from the pic on Dell's website about the side and back...

The lense is just too small and the flash too weak. I have an S200 because I love the size, but for more serious pics, and especially macro shots, come from my Olympus C3000Z
