What's with the trend of games looking the same all the way through. Doom and Quake 4 were nothing but black corridors. Far Cry was just tropical shrubbery all the way through. Fear was pure grey offices and warehouses. Why can't developers give us a change of scenery once in a while?

i dont mean to assume, but maybe you should finish far cry, it has almost as many corridors as forests, but yeah like an underwater level or a flying level would be awesome. like he could have dive equipment? that would be cool

I open the door and this eviscerated corpse nailed to the ceiling began screaming as two-headed things came rolling out of the ductwork -- I emptied the plasma rifle like I was painting the ***damn place. When the rifle was spent, I backed away switching to the marine's best friend, Mr. Combat Shotgun. Blasting furiously, I finished the last of them and remembered to breath again. Dug out a cigarette and put a pistol round through dead-guy's forehead ... just to be sure.

Then I discovered the doors were sealed and the only path forward was a hole into the coffin-wide crawlspace under the floor -- drenched in gore and echoing with the sound of strange skittering.

"You gotta be f***ing kidding me", I whispered aloud.

I stamped out the cigarette and checked my weapons.

sounds like Doom the book by stephen king (jk) but i would definately read that!
