on the loading screens one of the most common tips that pops up is that a blizzard employee will never ask for your password

Oh fun. Someone did a similar scam to one of the UO servers I used to play on. So many people fell for it lol. To make matters worse it was a hotmail account! WTF do people fall for that crap?

It's also not surprising that support-blizzard.com is based in china. Seriously china needs to be cut off from the internet, they're nothing but trouble. The only thing good to come from China is pirated software and movies, but there's always sweeden for that.

I actually got a few e-mails a while back that knew both my account name AND password and asked me to update my credit card info.

That caused me some concern, but I hadn't played WoW in a year or two so I just ignored them. Nothing happened.
