Ceiling fan at least keeps the air moving. I go out and sit in the toy pool for a few minutes every few hours to bring the body core down. But even the pool water gets to 90 or more on the really hot days, so that sometimes isn't an option.
I run the window AC for a couple of hours at a time more to dry the air than cool it.
We're in the 'when is it gonna friggin cool down?' phase of Summer. That usually happens mid September, so another 3 - 4 weeks. But even then, we can have hot spells. We were around 90 several days in October last year, but by then the nights routinely drop into the low 60s or upper 50s, so it's a lot easier to take.
