Had a huge thunderstorm last night. Slept through most of it but at one point the power bumped briefly before I went to the bathroom. I think that's what ended up waking me up. 23C right now with air quality alert. Been having that for about a week now due to forest fire smoke from the west.

20C and smoky. Can tell winter is coming though, days are really getting shorter and nights going down to single digits. It feels like we didn't really get a summer this year. Got the odd nice days but it was mostly cold/raining for majority of summer.

I haven't needed AC for a few days. Lows in the low 60s make a lot of difference all day.

That's changing again and I can feel the Mug creeping back in. The air just feels damp again. I may get though today without AC, but maybe not tomorrow.

We're back to similar temperatures as a week or two ago, mid 90s to low 70s, but the humidity is only around 50% which makes it much more tolerable.

I can have 80-83 inside the house and not be drenched with sweat.

It's been in the lower 80's all week with lows around 60F and no rain. The wind has been blowing out of the east this week which isn't normal. We may finally get some rain on Tuesday.

I'm almost having to ration power. My bill last month was by far the highest in the 26 years I've been here. The next one may be even higher as we have another several days of mid to upper 90s coming.

It's 85 inside the house now and I hope to hold off on the AC until closer to time to try to go to sleep.

A dip or two in the toy pool may help some.

After two very hot days, (1 over 80, 1 over 70) it’s finally cooled back down…and rain forecast through the weekend.

Holy crap! I thought my house was hot at 80. We have the ac set at 78 and the wife sometimes can't bear sitting in the living room. She has to go into the master and turn our fans on.

We lucked out apparently. The whole week was supposed to be in the 100s but now it's looking like mid to high 90s for the rest of the week including the weekend.
