Looks like a good excuse to exercise and then indulge in some health-risky fast food :p
Did my driveway and an elderly neighbour's. May have to do another neighbour's xd

It's good to have a snowblower with electric start. I put full synthetic 0-30 oil in it :colbert:

Biggest problem with that picture isn't too much snow, but too many houses.

At nearly a quarter mile, I can't even see my next closest neighbor's house.

Neighbors on one side have 4 kids...theoretically. If the school bus didn't stop at their house, I'd never know they have kids...and I rarely see the adults. The house on the other side is owned by a contractor from the Tacoma area. In the 6 years we've lived here, I think I've seen them there less than 10 times. Behind my house is a state wildlife wetlands...no neighbors back there. Sure, I have neighbors across the street...one couple who is at least my age...and another retired couple with a gearhead son.

MOSTLY, it's quiet as hell here...I like it that way.

As for the weather. It snowed a bit earlier...just a skiff, didn't really accumulate except along the side of buildings and such.

Preparing for a shitshow this weekend. 3-6 snow, then freezing rain, then rain, then 20f temps immediately after for a few days. Rock salt is depleted in the area, so 150 lbs of calcium is in the garage.

If you have outdoor pets, try to use a magnesium salt. If they eat it, it won't be harmful to them. It does cost more but I think we're talking a few bucks per bag. Honestly though, I don't remember.
Feb-Ru-Hairy...still too early to shave off the beard.
You know, I had been trying to pronounce it feb-brew-airy but f*** it. I've always pronounced it feb-byoo-airy and that's how I like saying it. If anyone has a problem with that, I'm happy to give them my spare bag of dicks.

Thank you for that and we do. We keep the pup leashed and on the snow even with rock salt. Ive been down twice this year and need to keep a clear path in very cold conditions.
