Still plenty windy out there, but not the gale-force winds we had during the previous day. Air temp dropped a bit.

Out of nowhere this huge blizzard just started a while ago. Weather network says "light snow". Meanwhile they'll issue a snowfall warning for something less than what we're getting now. :tearsofjoy:

Glad I'm scheduled to work from home tomorrow, saves me from having to dig out to get to work on time.

We're in for some C-O-L-D! weather...well...cold for us. Gonna dip down into the mid-20s for a few nights. No rain or snow in the immediate forecast. (maybe next weekend. We could use it...we're WAY behind on our rainfall for the year.

East coast isn't much better. Global warming more water in the atmosphere and that translates to more precipitation of every kind.

Of course then you have to deal with the air currents that like to scoop up all of that humidity and then find a place to dump it.

NJ has actually had it pretty easy the past several winter. I can't even remember the last time I had to drag out the snow blower.

I don't know how the windchill can be warmer than the air temp, nor how gusts can be slower than sustained wind...but there it is lol.

-21C feels like -26

Ran out of firewood, going to have to go outside to get more. Next year I will try to come up with a better way to do that, like maybe some kind of chute so I can just launch it down through the basement window instead of going all around the house. Just need something I can easily dismantle and assemble as needed and stow away somewhere.
