I almost bought an Aeron refurb before I found the first WorkPro I had at OfficeMax probably 15 years ago. It took over 12 years for the mesh seat to stretch to the point of no longer being comfortable for my ass. I gave it to a neighbor with a fat ass and she loves it, it's a heavy duty chair. The new one seats exactly as I hoped and expected it would, based on the last chair. It's no Herman Miller, but I'm happy with it.

Miller and Steelcase are definitely comfortable, well-crafted, and durable. The chairs I've had, I've gotten at OfficeMax, but they weren't like $50-100 chairs. That WorkPro Quantum 12000 was $349 on a clearance, down from 549 iirc.

Unfortunately, the new Quantum 9000 from Amazon was not on sale, or at least not discounted that much. Still worth it if it holds up like the last one did.

Woke up this morning to a thin skiff of snow...and snowing heavily with large flakes. Got almost a whole 1/2" before it stopped. <phew, that was almost a SNOWMAGEDDON!> Fortunately, it's mostly melted off...but more predicted.

Speaking of tariffs, how's the hoarding going on? Both at your side and in general?

I have not hoarded anything TBH but I did expedite 2 major purchases that I was originally going to wait until summer for. New batteries and an inverter for server room UPS upgrade. Both of those are from the US so prices will go up I'm sure. Had been saving up for that for a few years so did have the money for it without dipping into credit, so it works out.

It took Trump showing he was serious in order to light a fire under Trudy's ass though. He never would have done anything otherwise he would have done it years ago.
Ahahhahahha. You must be a moron. Trudeau just told Trump he is going to do something previously announced and Donny Two Bits said ok. It's a win for Donny because his followers are as dumb as you.

+1 and rain.

Come on guys. Let's keep the topic on the weather.

There is a thread in P&N for tariff talk.

Got another 1/2" of snow earlier...dog (8 month old puppy) had a blast in it. First time he's ever actually seen snow.

Supposed to snow occasionally most of the week. 3" total...maybe.

-18C, feels like -28. It's the type of cold that goes right through you, If I didn't check and had to guess I would think it's more like -40.

One more month of this, then it should warm up a little bit, and we'll be into snow storm season.

It's roaring loudly outside my windows right now. Not sure why it shows current conditions as a blizzard though...there's no snow atm within hundreds of miles. Silly weather app.
