Been nasty in couple last days, weather is too warm so it's raining. Rain in winter is always gross. Everything starts to melt and it just makes a big mess. Slush etc. Then it freezes.

Lot of black ice too, hit a patch on my way to work during a curve, managed to regain control and was fine. The truck just started to go sideways for a bit and I let off the gas and was able to strengthen back out. I have to admit I was impressed at my ability to quickly recover that though. Not my first rodeo with icy roads. Definitely got the heart racing though.

Record high expected today, over 80F and sunny. We’re on track for zero rain in December.

rain rain and some more rain, it feels like it's been raining every day for 6 weeks now, have had to empty out the pool we don't use twice now, looks like we have rain until the new year at the very least

temperature is about 79f , 89 when not raining

Got some snow this morning.

Out in the burbs where I'll be celebrating Christmas with family, it will be a white Christmas. Snow from late last week plus today. Should be purty

82F = 27.8C going into the damn new year. Global warming really just kicking the shit out of South Texas. I still remember 30-40 years ago when all our trees would be bare by the end of November. Last winter the trees didn't lose their leaves until a 3 day cold span around January 18th-20th if I remember right and this year I doubt it happens period since we're forecast a blazing hot January. I'd say 50-60% of the trees in my neighborhood are still full, maybe 30% half full, and then 10-20% are bare or near bare a month after all the trees would have lost their leaves 30 years ago out here. Was kind of shocked seeing a bunch of roses in full bloom in what is supposed to be the dead of winter too. Looks like this will be the second consecutive year without a winter out here.

looking at rain for the next 4 days and temps over 7C.

Wednesday brings in cold air and snow until at least Saturday with temps in the -5C to -10C range.

The weather roller-coaster is fun.
