Single digits? Still shorts weather.Shootin' fer single digits (or less) with a stiff breeze. I may not step out of the house for a few days.
lol.-14C feels like -24. Snowing at a decent pace now, lots of blowing snow. Didn't have lot on my truck this morning so did have extra time to stop at Tim Horton's on way to work so that was nice.
And here we go againOne would tend to think the Texas grid was being improved after the last massive outage.
Yeah, dropping down below 10F does that to our force hot water system (piped NG). If the wind picks up, same happens at about 15F. I really think the builder undersized the furnace for a house in NH. Of course, we have a large picture window in the front of our house flanked by to large side windows. They are double pane, but that's not enough. Also, not enough base board length downstairs doesn't help.-12f right now. Kinda chilly in the house. Lp boiler is struggling to keep up. Time to switch over to wood heat for the duration.
I can up the temp the lp boiler runs at to 170, but it still has to fight the cold basement. After a certain point i have to fire up the wood boiler. Yeah, -12f.
