Now we are under a snow squall watch due to winds over Lake Huron.

Alerts for: London - Middlesex

Watches
4:58 AM EST Monday 15 November 2021
Snow squall watch in effect for:

  • London - Parkhill - Eastern Middlesex County

There is potential for snow squalls off of Lake Huron beginning late this morning and carrying on through the afternoon into the evening hours.

Local snowfall amounts of 15 cm and near zero visibility in bursts of heavy snow are possible in the strongest lake effect snow bands.

The snow squalls are expected to weaken slowly into flurries this evening.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snow squall watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the formation of bands of snow that could produce intense accumulating snow or near zero visibilities.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.

today, warm and rain.

Tomorrow, a cold-front brings freezing temps and snowsqualls Thursday night.

The weekend will be a winter mix of rain and snow.

Tonight:
Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

This will be our 3rd measurable snow. Yesterdays 60F temps melted the snow that was left from last Sunday night.

High 60's today and beautiful out. Probably the last nice day of the year over 60 near NYC but we shall see. The weather is crazy these days.

Got a small storm happening right now. Lot of wind gusts, and power flickered once so far. -2, but -10 with the wind. Announcing 15cm of snow or so overnight.

Fun stuff, winter is here. Glad I'm off for the week, I'm sure this will cause lot of commotion at work especially if it goes through Quebec.

-10 feels like -18. Still snowing but it's tapered off.

Glad I'm off this week, I'll deal with that later. :p Hard to tell from pic but there are some decent size drifts. Nothing insane but maybe like a foot or so in some spots. But some spots are only a few cm. It's dealing with taking it off the truck that's the real pain, as this kind of snow creates a weird crust that's very hard to take off.

We had almost 2 full days of no rain...back to the atmospheric river. Accuweather sez over an inch of rain on Thursday daytime...and another inch+ Thursday nite.

40f and chilly with a steady 15 mph WNW wind.... gust's to 25.

Wind chill in the 20's... its a really pretty day but this early into cold weather season my body hasn't adjusted fully yet so it feels much colder then it really is.

It''s been raining steadily all morning, but a few minutes ago, it was a solid wall of water coming down. I could barely see the houses across the street. I'm glad it only lasted about 10 minutes.

How did/is everyone faring from the cold front moving across the East?
Pretty bad winds most of the day yesterday with the power going on & off a bunch of times but never fully went out. Had at times rain coming down hard too. Now that the front went thru it looks like it's going to be at least in the 40sF or more the rest of the week

we had a lot of rain go through and high winds causing issues.

the temp roller-coaster continues this week for us with rain Wednesday/Thursday.
