Raining, so that is good

We actually have a forecast that DOESN'T include at least one rain day...after this weekend.

After 25 years in dry NorCal where 12-13" of rain annually was the norm...we moved back to Warshington...especially the wetter western side, just to have rain. We now live in a part of the state where we average 75" of rain...or more every year. Sometimes it gets to be a PITA when there's something that needs doing iutside...like mowing the lawn or construction...but overall, I'll take cool and rainy over scorching hot and sunny anyday.

Was way better today, but had to finalize some things before heading to work so could not start on my deck. Was 19 which is perfect. I hope this holds for the next week or so, so I can start once I'm done my shifts.

21C here, which is perfect. I'm at work though. :/

Been raining a lot lately, hope that it clears up but stays around this temp once I'm off. Not looking good though, suppose to rain the entire time I'll be off. Of course. It's either too damn hot, or raining, there is no in between.

Been in the 90'sF all week with heat index crossing over 100F. At least it has kept the physical religious door knockers away.

Freaking hot and humid here ----> heat index would be in the low to mid 100. Yike. Thank goodness for AC in the vehicle and house.

We had a week of 30+ glad that's over for now. I don't envy people that have to work in that. I was kinda working myself in it when I did my tree but I was working at my own pace, which in that heat, was very slow.

High 90s today, but humidity is <40%. Glad I have central AC, and that I mowed the lawn yesterday.

I mowed the lawn yesterday.
I did mine last week. Growth has slowed, so it was only longish in some places, notably the front curb where the fuckhole contractor used turbo seed after replacing the curb, so it looks like hillbilly heaven right out front, while the rest of the grass could wait another week. Anyway, I could have gone either way with mowing, but 85° and overcast got me to make it shorter. I don't need many excuses to avoid stupid work like making grass shorter, but heat worked. Glad I got it done.

I ended up mowing my lawn at like 10pm the other day lol. It was too hot that day and then I realized it was suppose to rain non stop for a while. Got lucky though and it has not rained like they said but at least the job is done.

My next lawnmower will be electric, I'll feel less bad for doing it at that time. Way I see it though, it's not night time until it's dark out. :p It was getting dark, but not completely yet.
