3 days of wet kind of killed off the dry and I'll probably have to mow again by the end of the coming week.

Been cool, below normal, but all of the forecast are showing warm again. This time of year, the nights are cool and the hotter hot is only for a couple of hours in the afternoon, so not too bad.

Been really warm, in the 25C range. Unusual for this time of year... well, historically. In the past few years our summers do seem to extend more through September and even October. Can't complain though. Last year it was like end of December before we even got permanent snow.

Forecast for the week is around 85 and generally near 60 at night. Hopefully the cool nights will allow the house to stay cool enough that I don't need AC.

Went to a hockey game last night, it was kind of weird having to wear long pants and bring a coat to be in the arena, and then come out, and it's hot out. Normally you walk out of the arena and it's colder out, not hotter! But winter is just around the corner, will enjoy any hot day we have left.

Well 100s seem to be gone but these days of 96-98 are getting old when we should be in the high 80s this time of year.

Been in the 20's and dipping down to the 10C range at night. Still very warm for this time of year. Back when I was a kid we'd normally get our first snow by now, it wouldn't stay on the ground but it was cold enough for snow.

Hate to say it but now that I got the wood stove fully setup and ready for use I'm kinda looking forward to winter weather. :p I did a couple break in burns but the temperature is really not optimal for that. I still lit a few fires to break it in and cure the paint which off gases and requires windows to be open anyway, but was very uncomfortable in here even with all the windows open and fans going.

I'd be happy if our low was 20C

First time in a couple of weeks I've had to turn the AC on. Mostly because of the muggy that won't let it cool under 70 tonight. I need at least some sleep.

Just cooled down below 100 F for the first time in 113 days.

Phoenix ends its streak of 100-degree days at 113 consecutive days

They had 61 days of those 113 days hotter than 110F (43.3C)

"Since then, Phoenix has broken more than a dozen city heat records, including the most days at 110 degrees F (43.3 C) or hotter — 61 — and 39 mornings with lows only dropping into the 90s."

I'm really interested to see what Phoenix looks like in 30 years. Not just because of global warming's march forward that we keep feeding but also their lack of water. It's sad seeing it become the fastest growing city in the US because of the cost of housing knowing by the time those new buyers' mortgages are up there will be very likely be huge climate migration out of the area so good luck selling your debt trap.

The leaves are already changing and falling here in the Appalachians of WV. This is about 2 to 3 weeks early for us in recent memory.

10C right now. Suppose to warm up again in the next few days though. I actually used the wood stove this morning, mostly because I'm excited to finally have it fully operational, but it was actually also cool enough to justify it. It was the type of cold that goes right through you.

LOL I remember last year the leaves hadn't fallen off the trees until late January in San Antonio. Then three days later it was spring. Usually happens in November here.

First day of fall and it was 95F = 35C in San Antonio. At least tomorrow night the night time lows will finally start dropping below 70F = 21.1C. Tonight though 74F = 23.3C forecast for the low.

We had 95° today ourselves in the Bay area.
Supposed to drop to 92° tomorrow.

I remember a year where the leaves never fell, they just died in-place and stayed all winter then fell out in spring when new ones were growing in. Managed to find some pics, was in 2002.
