P&N is so full of bile and vitriole that it serves no purpose. So many personal attacks and uneven moderation have rendered it a useless forum.

I spend more time in P&amp;N than in OT. P&amp;N is a great place to learn how to Ignore certain people and Self Control. There are some Threads and Posters which/who make good points, but there is a lot of Trolling as well. It isn't much different than OT, the subject matter is just more controversial.

That's such a crock of crap - God knows Riprorin is given endless opportunities to post pointless troll threads. Shinerburke (who I like, but who has clearly lost his mind) has just gotten the board's conservatives to buy off on his conspiracy theories in re. the mods.

meh i was totally unimpressed. just about all the threads i read were started by riproarin about some inflammatory right-wing viewpoint, and then 80% of the replies ripped into his post and him personally.

While I don't post alot in P&amp;N it is one of my favorite stops to get the news of the day. You will see just about every slant on the issues of the day, which can be far more entertaining than just cold reporting. A great many posters there are articulate and intelligent. Yes, some are just whacked.
