I bought a 5 lb. tub of ON whey protein powder, the "Gold Series" Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. This stuff is awesome! It actually smells and tastes like vanilla ice cream. And it has 6 grams more protein per serving than my last tub of generic crap protein.

I highly recommend this to anyone that uses or wants to use whey protein as a supplement.

Been using this stuff for two years. I get the double rich chocolate. Still amazes me how good it tastes, even after two years. I buy the 10lb bag and put it into sealed plastic containers.

I really like Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino and Chocolate Truffle. It's a bit expensive, but it's 23g per serving of high quality whey protein isolate, with virtually no carbs/fat/etc. And, most importantly, it's DELICIOUS. Mix it with 1-2 servings of skim milk and you have, respectively, an excellent cappuccino or yummy chocolate milk with 32g+ of protein. It's actually tasty enough that I have it as dessert to satisfy any sweet tooth cravings... I highly recommend it :)

I've tried 5 different companies chocolate flavors since starting on protein shakes maybe 3 months ago, (Body Fortress, IsoPure, EAS, ON, American Sports Nutrition) I like the American double dutch chocolate the best so far. It was well priced too, 59.99@DPS for a 10lbs tub. The bucket will make a good mixing bucket for stucco patching and stuff too.

I gulp it down so fast that as long as it doesn't make me puke any will suffice.

Anyone have links to any studies on how the body absorbs Whey isolate protein powder versus other sources of protein (e.g. meat)? I drink a whey isolate protein shake (generic brand) after lifting, just curious how effective it is.

I've used Biotest products for a while including their GROW! protein powder and after a while, I just can't stand the taste of the sucralose sweetener they put it in.

It appears the Optimum Nutrition doesn't have much sugar, AND better yet, doesn't have any fake sweeteners in it. How the heck do they make it taste that good? Next time I'll try it out.
