Just bought one of those electro-shock muscle sitmulators, if you have no experience in them, don't reply.

Guys and gals, it's pretty clear beau6183 is pretty set on the wonders that this thing's going to provide (and if not, that wonderfully touted 60-day guarantee will protect him) since it's not an infomercial one.

Let him have his dream.

All I am doing is using it for when I am sitting around doing nothing. I'm not trying to lose weight, improve stamina, or anything. I am on a very aggressive workout 5-day-a-week workout schedule at my local gym, so it's not like I am trying to do this as a substitute. Physical therapists use these to improve muscle tone in injured areas, I want to use it to improve tone in isolated areas. I've had to use them before on my back when I broke it 5 years ago to improve muscle tone and strength. Yes, I'm sure I don't truly have 2.4%, it was just a caliper reading, though it is very low (I am pretty fit. I run everyday for 4 miles, on top of my workout schedules). I was being a bit sarcastic. But that is not the point. All I was asking for was some feed back from PEOPLE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH THESE, not little asshole-read-the-newspaper believers that don't understand that this is not an infomercial product - it is a physical-therapy grade device. It isn't doing any harm to try it out. If it works then great, if not, oh well. I have 60 days to take it back if I don't like the results. Big whoopdittydoo.

I've tried one of those before - you feel the muscles contracting but is there actually a benefit? BTW, keep that away from your heart!

They aren't labeled as such. I was searching for other stuff and came across these by accident.

My friend is a PT and they use this grade device and higher and they do work. I don't know how effective or how quickly though.

ok so whats the difference? Just because its a "pro" one doesnt mean it has any benifits. an electric current is an electric current.

I don't know, that is why I would wait for an evaluation from Beau and not just bunch it with the 29.99 ones. "Pro" models have been used to help people recover from damaged muscles. It obviously has a use. Whether it helps a healthy person is the question. Electro-shock therapy isn't bunk.

Those things do not do a damn thing. A friend of mine is going to be some sort of fitness/health stuff. Not sure the exact major. But he said that the only way for this type of "Excersize" to work is to scrape off all the skin and connect this directly to the layer right above the actual muscles. Otherwise it will not do a thing. And with all this in the news for being a fraud, you got ripped off buddy. So instead of spending $19.99 on a piece of junk, you paid $350 for a piece of junk!!!!

You got hosed!

My dad's a physical therapist, he used to bring these things home sometimes. They feel weird and are kind of neat but I don't really think that they work at building muscle like you want. These gizmos do contract the muscles but aren't going to provide the effectiveness that you want. I mean, I can sit here for twenty minutes and contract my bicep on again and off and it's not going to grow larger. I think you spent your money unwisely, but try it for a while and see what you think. Good luck. Oh yeah, if you're 6 feet tall and 155 I would invest my money in some MetRx Protien Shakes or something instead, put on some L-B's man. You're a featherweight, not that I should be talking or anything. I'm six-one, 165. Lol.

When my grandfather was in the hospital he had a similar device on his feet, to keep his muscles active. NOT to improve muscle tone and strength!!

You just wasted $350 dollars. Unless you've been in a coma for a year it won't do jack squat. I have never read any research indicating those things were effective in any way for a healthy person.

Just one comment,

if you are on an aggressive 5-day-a-week workout and also run 4 miles each day on top of that, shouldn't you give your body a rest and a chance to rebuild your muscles? I think the time that you aren't working out you should be resting instead of shocking your muscles to break them down more. I mean there comes a point in time when it is better for your body to not excercise because it needs to rebuild its muscles.
