But he wouldn’t have got past capitol police detail. Still surprising that the spouse and home of the 2nd person in the line of succession doesn’t have around the clock protection.

Frankly, they don't care. The Trump QAnon terrorist's could care less about repercussions over killing, attacking, murdering, insurrection or any of that stuff. Federal charges? Phooey on federal charges...

Given the Alex Jones case, doesnt the Pelosi's have an air tight case vs. the arbiters of conspiracy hate propaganda? Lets hear who this dude's number one influencer is.

No, probably not. I think her husband would probably be considered a public figure so they would need to prove they knew what they were saying was false or showed reckless disregard for if it were true or false.

I think if they continue to spread this ‘gay hookup gone wrong’ lie they would be on the hook for defamation but most of this happened before the details came out.

So sure, it was stupid, juvenile, and irresponsible, but there’s a decent argument that they didn’t KNOW it was false.

And they all gravitate to one political party: The GOP.

Paul Pelosi is most fortunate.

But there will be more incidents and attacks as the unhinged and the vile espouse extreme views

To be fair the EXTREMELY rare case of a nut-job breaking into one's home and coming at you with a hammer IS legitimately one of the times where a firearm might just come in handy!

Because Democrats are the perpetual schmoes, they never hit back and when they do it’s in an irritating over educated kind of way.
If you know the person you’re going to hit isn’t going to fight back like ever there is no reason not to continue because you know what you’ll lose by not hitting and you know there will be zero consequences for hitting.

I had actually thought of that, and tbf I'd have to agree...but it crossed my mind as an expected, typical attempt by conservative talking heads of a 'gotchya' remark just to be snarky about the situation.
