Yeah I still need to figure out a decent CAD program that will work in Linux before I get into 3D printing, and I'm not a fan of cloud based stuff, I won't touch Fusion just out of principle. FreeCAD is about the only thing in Linux and it's a huge pain to use, it's like someone had a contest to design the worse UX and won and they used that.

Tinkercad is worth a look. Web based, owned by Autodesk, and it's free to use.

I have the Tina2 printer and the software I'm using is Wiibuilder.

Might be worth checking sold listings to see how many people are buying and what they pay, I suspect this will not be a fruitful endeavor.

I printed all the 3D shapes from this song, I wanted to give them to my cousin's toddler.


At first I tried printing a sphere that was completely round, and the print malfunctioned and almost damaged my 3D printer because there wasn't a strong base, so next I printed half a sphere twice and super glued them together.

I think you can use anything that will do 3D modeling, but after you build the model you have to run it through a slicer so the printer knows where each layer of plastic goes.
I keep thinking I need a 3D printer but the reality is that there is about a dozen things I'd print and then it would sit unused.
