Jumped on the Dell deal last weekend.

The monitor is oh-my-god sexy. I want it to have my babies, and I want the 700M to raise them.

60gig
a/b/g wireless
dvd-rom/cd-rw
extended life battery.

All for $1586 shipped. I'm in tech heaven right now.

Which is why I went with the best AG CRT out there...a Mitsu/NEC SB Diamondtron. 😉

I had to choose between the 2001FP, 2005FPW, or the FP2141-BK. The 2001 was nice, but it still wasn't up to the level of the NEC CRT.

Nice monitor though....it was my second choice. The 2005 had to many issues with back lighting for my taste.

I just got the 2001FP too, what a great monitor. Unfortunately, I have gotten 1 stuck pixel (red) near the address bar on the top. Not that big of a deal considering there are nearly 2,000,000 pixels on the monitor to begin with. It is to be expected with the way LCDs are manufactured.

It is certainly better than 2 or 3 dead pixels.

Haha, yeah. Onkyos hooked to the receiver, Altecs for the main PC, some no brand ones for the PC sitting on the desk.

 

Um, you need some furniture to catch up to those new pieces of hardware.
