I got the 2001fp for a good deal in December. It just couldn't stand the sub-par quality (screen door effect) and had to return it.

It's hit and miss, congrats on your satisfaction!

LAPtop. Because they go on top of your LAP. Not on top of your lab. Unless you're using it on the roof of your school's chemistry building or something. 😕

Are all 700m's white on the inside like that? I wasn't aware of it.

Yes, that's an old 17" Micron sitting there(not even a flat screen). The monitor that this one replaced was a 17" MAG. It was flat screen but it was still 8 years old.

And yes dak, I do believe they are all white.
