Judge Sotomayor confirmation hearings

I didn't see a thread on this. Is anyone listening/watching this. I wonder if Jeff Sessions is going to say something else racist? Like implying she and the other Puerto Rican judge would think alike on a case. Wow.

and why would that be racist? she herself has said that she draws on her ethnicity and background to make her decisions... so why wouldn't it stand to reason that some other pr would think a lot like her? well, ok, maybe one who went to an ivy school...

I listened some yesterday. It should get more interesting today as the questions will start then, I think.

I can't see how she can be denied the position. Obama hit the ball out of the park nominating her.

Does she have any underage daughers we can make jokes about their sexual activities with? That seems to be the standard operating procedure for the left these days, I figure it should fair game here..

Yea - if only there were more racist judges to tell me that I, a white male, am inferior (Note: not equal) to a Latina Woman

And trod out those same daughters as the poster children for abstinence??

Amazingly none of this "she hates white people" shit would be uttered if she were anti-choice.

More crocodile tears from the besieged white man constituency.

Gonna sit on USSC in no time.

Completely shameful.

Not at all. Great day for America when it happens.

A racist joining the USSC does not make for a great day.

Racist to you maybe. She is going to be confirmed with a solid number of Republican votes.

Racism is racism, and by supporting affirmative action, she is clearly racist.

I particularly liked Sen. Mitch McConnell's statements. He's calling her out on her racism and unequal treatment based on race. It is the very core of her being.

You are ignorant of the way the law works. She had no right to overturn a USSC precedent as an Appellate court judge. Only USSC can overturn its own precedent.

He's just attacking her because she's a Latina woman and proud of it.

Constitutionally there is a point.

And a supreme racist to her core and her life history, statements, rulings has proven it. Good to see McConnell calling her out, very good to see.

I don't recall Palin ever doing that.

Perhaps you should look at her record. She never advocated abstinence only education while mayor or governor. She WAS against "explicit" sex education, but no one ever defined 'explicit'

During a governor debate she did say the following though: "I'm pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues"

You are inferior, asshole, and your inferiority is self confessed. The fact that her remarks even phase you is proof of that.

Let me tell you how it is. I am a white male. There is not another category of people anywhere on the planet that is superior to me. I am the highest of the high, the best their is, the greatest who has ever lived. And there is not one other person on the entire planet of any other category that is even one wit inferior to me. So when somebody says different, that I am less than them, I laugh at the water running off my back as I wiggle my pin feathers.

You, on the other hand, are offended, because you really feel like a piece of shit. So buck up and have a little personal pride.
