Patient education, nutritional instruction, routine screening (whether be PE or labwork) for diabetes are among the preventative measures that are covered (reimbursed) by insurance (albeit too poorly, imho). So yes, you are wrong.

Contraception would be more akin to a special pill that allowed you to eat 5000 calories a day and not get fat.
So is heart disease, kidney disease, etc. etc., should these types of services be restricted as well?
First of all heart disease is not a lifestyle choice. I have no objection to restricting services for the obese and smokers.
