THe US Tresurary has already taken steps to make money more accessible.....that is why the new bills have the big ole' huge numbers on them. It really would be a simple accomodation to make, so there is no reason NOT to do it. The fact of the matter is with the baby boomers getting older (and developing macular degeneration at an alarming rate), there are going to need to be many visual adaptations made, after all one point to having goverment is to provide for it's citizens.
You go to the store blindfolded and trust the cashier to give you the correct change, do YOU have that kind of trust??? Why should a visually impaired person need to be trusting of all the jackholes (like several of u) out there??? I've seen a blind person ripped off more than once....remember we're talking about MONEY, people's income here, EVERYONE has a right to access/see there damn money. It's not like asking for acessible cars....don't be assinine.
And just as an FYI, it would most likely be best (fom a disability stand point) to make different sizes as opposed to Braille, Braille dots can be rubbed down.
