This guy gets a nice dressing down by the judge for flipping the bird at the prosecutor during open court. Oh, and $400 fine + 6 days in jail.
Hilarious video.

I actually thought the judge handled it pretty well. I've seen some judges who were very abrasive and asshole-ish when things like this have happened.

Just speaks slowly, like a mentally dull person. How did he become a judge? Also seems like a pecker, nothing worse than a judge on a power trip. I didn't watch the entire video, found it too long and slow on great account of the judge's inability to vocalize his thoughts in an acceptably fast manner.

Judges don't have to follow the law and can hand out any punishment or ignore the law totally. If you don't like it, pay an attorney $10,000 to appeal it, and perhaps a year or so later, you might overturn his ruling. Just as Judges are not allowed to make facial gestures, hand gestures or show their disgust during the hearing, neither should litigants. Judges are actually bound by law not to show feelings during a hearing or they can be recused. The bottom line is: Does the Judge like you and your attorney, or not. Most Judges have already decided your case before you even walked into the courtroom. Their note-taking is just comments from the hearing on how you will win or lose. NOTE: Always start your hearing with your best arguments - if you wait until the end of the hearing, it will be too late. And yes, the judicial system is corrupt. Very corrupt.

Nice story. Any facts to back it up?

judge has to speak slowly... everyone in court does. the court reporter has to be able to transcribe everything.

when the judge read the asshole kid his rights, he spoke pretty quickly.

Act like a Jackass in the courtroom, and the consequences (removal, censure, contempt rulings) are on YOU, not the Judge.

Indeed. It's not my name on the door when I walk in. Any litigator that doesn't treat the courtroom and the judge with the proper deference, regardless of whether the judge just ruled against you and was 100% wrong on the law, is not a very good litigator.

His room. His rules. Either play by them or get fucked the next 50 times you're before him.

"No disrespect to the court, but detective fernando can suck my dick"

lol

it won't matter. It was a non violent offence and they will just let him go. Our jail system sucks. We need to pull an Aliens 3 and send all their asses into outer space.
