This is such bullshit. This is why I don't normally get into new shows, because every show that I like gets canceled.

I liked the show.

I don't know how they think modern measures of ratings (Nielsen boxes?)
are an acurate reflection of who watches what.

I have never met anyone that is a part of the Nielsen's ratings club.

I watch all my tv shows on my computer from torrents since:

1. No tv
2. No dvr
3. after using torrents a while now, I hate sitting through commercials.

I thought it was a good show, but not a must-watch show. Too bad it's cancelled.

Same here. I wait until they have two seasons out, then I catch up on DVD. They make it easy for us to do that these days.

I never watched this show, but I liked Quantum Leap a lot. If this show is like Quantum Leap, I might have liked it. Maybe it'll get picked up by the Sci-Fi network?

Yea, hopefully a channel picks this up, I really looked forward to Mondays for once on NBC as I watched Chuck, skipped the heroes and then watched Journeyman!

Both the major ratings companies are having trouble taking these into account. There really is no good way to do ratings any more as all the forms have a lot of bias in them. At least by staying with the current methods they are able to get reasonably accurate numbers for the overwhelming majority of shows.

Then you are irrelevant to them.

Why would they want to count you as a viewer? You're not watching it on TV, so you're not seeing the ads, so they don't get any revenue as a result of your watching the show. Ratings are a dick-waving contest to see who has the most viewers, it's all about how much money they can make from the shows.

To be fair, it didn't seem like NBC tried hard enough to get the word out. I don't watch NBC's commercials all that much, I cannot recall ever seeing an ad about Journeyman. Which is a shame because it was a pretty good show.

NBC also confirmed to TV.com that the two remaining episodes will air as planned.

The final two episodes of Journeyman's strike-shortened season are scheduled to air on December 17 and December 19. For more on the show, check out TV.com's previous coverage.

The guide on my Dish DVR goes out nine days. No episodes show up in a search. I think they just flat dropped it.

Cancel that. I just went out through the guide day by day and the episodes are there on the 17th and 19th.

Why they don't come up in a search is a mystery.

Please, Lord God.............do NOT let NBC cancel this show!!!

Did anybody watch tonight????

Are you kidding me???

That was some of the most intuitive writing I've seen in a TV show since...........arrrggghhhh........I don't know when.

Tonight enticed me the same way the first episode did. Following a path that most writers don't dare. Not taking the easy way out. Constantly pushing the envelope.

Follow my analogy here..............I liken this show to those rare times when you actually REALIZE that you're dreaming & you can have a little *recreational* time within your own dreams. MARVELOUS!!!

It's the way ***I*** would write a show!!!

If they seriously cancel this, I might have to kill somebody! :| :| :|

I'd have to say that the final 2 episode of this season was some of the best TV I've seen so far this fall. The story line was solid, not to mention (one of my FAVORITE TV story lines): the alternate reality (spoliers stop there....;)). This is one of the reasons why Sliders was one of my all time favorite television series (except when they really botched it the final 2-3 seasons with the O' Connells). I'll have to leave them on my DVR until the season comes out on DVD.

If they cancel this - it will again show what a bunch of f*tards run that No-good Broadcasting Corporation.

Same here, I cannot stand a majority of the crap that in on the Scifi channel, but Journeyman was one show that I really enjoyed from the beginning.

I guess Scifi isn't too bad, but a lot of it has corny storylines, and the ones that do have good stories have poor special effects due to a low budget. Of course, I'm generalizing, and this may not even be the case anymore.

Anyway, Jericho came back from the dead (another show that I enjoyed), so maybe this one can too. I doubt it though.
