Jon Stewart Delivers Blistering Takedown of Obamacare Rollout

He probably picks on Democrats 20% of the time. You will never see that with your head jammed up your ass.

I guess that means that only 20% of the ridiculous things out there are done by Democrats. If the Republicans stopped being so insanely ridiculous, they wouldn't be featured as much.

If you feel he is unfair in a segment, feel free to discuss that segment and make an argument against what is being made fun of. Until then, all you have is sour grapes that there are more insane republicans than democrats.

I'm pretty sure I don't care. Wait... yep I'm sure. I don't care. What's funny is when people tell me the exchange here in NY can't tell them what meds will cost because it's not ready but people have to start choosing anyway. I tell them to call the white house 😛

I don't watch the Daily Show as much as in the past. I stopped watching it when you would see night after night jokes against conservatives done in a way that if you actually knew the source material he made his joke from, and knew what was said immediately before and immediately after the cherry-picked line for the joke, the jokes fall apart, because it was a false context that was the joke.

If he's changed his m.o. since then, great, but that's what I remember him for.

That's why he is often believed to be a shill. I watched his show for years straight, now watch it maybe once every two months. I do actually remember the show that finally cemented my disinterest, he had Tony Blair on, and all Stewart did during the length of the interview was fish for stories on George Bush's stupidity. Disrespectful.

Whatever. Stewart is a millionaire and doesn't need my miniscule rating point.

John Stewart is consistently hilarious no matter who he goes after.

Which is fine, but if you wanna take him seriously and actually start arguing his points, you will find he consistently lies in favor of Democrats and to the detriment of Republics, no matter what they are actually doing.

The thing is, he isn't "often" believed to be a shill outside of a very tiny echo chamber.

Feel free to post any evidence of his "jokes" not representing the source material.

Surely, you could post some evidence of his "lies in favor of democrats and detriment of Republics" then?

You're talking about problems developing it. That's fair. It's not an acceptable reason why the site is as it is.

There is a single reason this went live: it was allowed to. It was known that it was not ready by the IT reps, they voiced these opinions, but the administration and its people were dead-set on October 1 and said release it anyway. It was absolutely not ready, and this rests squarely on them for releasing something that was not ready.

It is not just VP's and PM's that don't listen to IT, dev, and software test engineers, Presidents of countries don't either. :awe:

Personally, I would love to take a look at their test procedures. Also, did the test team signoff on going live?

I watch the guy all the time, cuz he's funny.
I dont take him at all seriously cuz he's full of shit.
If you wanna research you are more than welcome.

It is funny that when hacks like you make a bogus claim, you always pussy out of providing even a shred of proof for your claim. Don't make claims if you can't back them up. Pathetic deflections only make you look like complete fools.

Wait, are you saying that even if someone can register successfully, enter their info and have it saved correctly, that when they get to the point of comparing and picking a plan they can't compare formularies?

If so, that is an epic facepalm and I hope this isn't the case.

Sorry, I'm too intelligent to engage on your level of debate. I graduated high school.

Don't cry about it. Just don't make bogus claims next time without having any actual evidence to back yourself up.

If you make a claim and then say that you don't feel like finding evidence, you are admitting that you don't have any. Looks like you need to retake high school or you didn't learn much there. Google "burden of proof," "claims," and "evidence.". That'll catch you up a bit.

Here's one man's story:

The fact is, nothing that anyone says here will change your opinion, so there is no point in trying to please you. Your only intent is mockery, not discussion. None of us have personally been misrepresented by Stewart so we do not have personal stories. If you believe the interviews are honest representations, you can go fuck yourself.

Consistently? So you're saying he's lying in the clip linked by the OP, or that he only lies when he bashes conservatives?

Why do you guys keep using the word "shill?" A shill is someone who isn't really what they purport to be, someone placed and controlled by someone or something else. Why not just say he's a liberal and this biases his comedy? I'd likely agree with that. Everything doesn't have to be a conspiracy.

Your right.

He isn't a shill. He's a liberal/socialist, that doesn't like republicans and conservatives. And from time to time rips dem's when its too easy.

That said, there are plenty of our resident lib nutters, that are in denial over that fact. Because they have deluded themselves into thinking that Sterwart is some kind of impartial political comedian. They lied to themselves so many times they actually believe it now

Yeah that's how it is in NY. It's really weird. Remember though that we have our own state run exchanges so I don't know how it is elsewhere.
