Yes TAAT stands for Team AnAndTech. Something that was decided during the Pentathlon a few years ago. (TAAT didn't even know TAAT was TAAT when it first appeared. :tearsofjoy: )

I already changed mine when I first switched on MLC.

Actually, it's TeAm AnandTech, but who's counting letters? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well drats. I need to make a new logo if that's true since TeamAAT doesn't make sense at that point.

I thought it stood for each "syllable" in the name Team Anandtech.

Team
An
And
Tech

Four syllables.

Back to the drawing board this weekend I suppose. sigh.

It is the capital letters in TeAm AnandTech.
The T and A were capitalized as in Team Anandtech, we were just the TeAm here in discussions in the forums. Somehow it has morphed from TA to TeAm to TeAm AnandTech to TAAT.

The TA and TAAT acronyms were apparently introduced long before I joined; nevertheless: I think TA was used by TeAm members themselves, whereas TAAT occurs to me to be an outside invention (e.g. as a shorthand in Pentathlon's daily reports).

Also, TAAT became 7AA7 in May 2018 ;-) and almost, but not quite, evolved to T44T in 2019. :-)

Yes, I'm pretty sure TAAT was first used by Jeeper in 2017 here.

Looking good so far :) It's nice to such a large turnout from the TeAm on this one. There are a bunch of members from a bunch of different teams crunching for Ukraine right now as well. ukraine.png

I've joined the team, however all of my tasks are currently pending validation. Will probably show up in the next day or so.

On Universe Trotador, NOSNHOP, 616westwarmoth are also all from XS. YodaP from CrunchingEVGA as well.

On Primegrid I see bluestang and systemviper from XS - biodoc, Icecold, cellarnoise, markfw, ken_g6 and crashtech from TAAT, and mmonnin from Overclock.net. I didn't check any other projects yet. It seems like there's quite a bit of support from people from a bunch of different teams.

If I missed anybody my apologies.

@SystemVipers Steve, thanks so much to you and your team for bringing this up, support for Ukrainians! (or the Iranians if you ask Joe, during the state of the union address, lol, bless his heart, he's a terrible speaker).

I don't visit as often as before, so I will see what I can do now that I am aware of the movement, if you will.

I like your idea @StefanR5R
I was going to try to come up with a statement or open letter that anyone can put their name to in the community and post it,
But I don't think I am the one to do that.

Enjoy the weekend
Steve

I don't know, but we have gotten replies from DC Ukraine members thanks us for support on several forums.
To me it's not only what if any Ukrainians (in country) are thinking of PG FB lol , they are just trying to survive a brutal invasion.
I feel it's raising awareness in our community (DC).
But again that is a personal choice.
I'd be willing to push the numbers up in PG but I am always open to suggestions, comments and ideas' :)

I posted the latest daily numbers from today on 5 projects, (only ones with action) on XS...

Enjoy the day
SV
