Ouch. I really liked 8 Simple Rules 🙁 Anyone know what they normally do in this type of situation? Will they cancel the show?

Jack was a wimp, I'd of had Crissy liquored up and tied to her bed by the second episode, max. Janet could hold the video camera until it's her turn.

I hope not... Henry Winkler was on the set when it happened, I think he would be a good stand in. I truly think the show will go on.

I don't see how they can continue the show with a stand in dad. It just wouldn't be the same without him.

I agree about 8 Simple Rules. Great show, but not the same without him. They could try it out, but I'm sure it would not be easy for the cast members, losing a close friend/co-worker so suddenly.

RIP John. Loved your work.

actually he was doing both of them constantly....think about it, if you *knew* you were being taped would you let out any deal breakers?

Oh Janet, I so want you....the cameras are gone and Crissy has been begging for me....but it's you I *need*....please no matter what happens don't mention this to her as she would be utterly devastated.

vice versa .... 😉

do it like a true pimp would 🙂

RIP Jack

I remember watching 3's company with my parents when I was really little. John Ritter wasn't some big flashy comedian actor. Just a down to earth guy that didn't need to rely on too much slapstick, gross, or sexual humor to be funny. He will be missed 🙁

If anyone sees the movie "Stay Tuned" at the video store, pick it up. It's a riot! John Ritter stars as a guy addicted to TV so much, he sells his soul for the ultimate tv set sold to him by the devil. The TV remote has the unfortunate side effect of placing the viewer into any show it turns on. Hilarity ensues.

I just had my aorta repaired on 12/30/02. My dessection swelled to 6.5cm wide and about 6 cm long. Hell of a new year's gift for my wife and (at that time) 3-month old son. Most people don't live through the procedure. I was only given about a 10% chance of surviving the surgery. He must have had a massive dissection to die that quickly.

Everybody loved John Ritter.

He is irreplaceable, IMO. One of my favorite sitcom actors (I didn't see his more serious works - I will now, however).

Rest in peace, John. :brokenheart:

Looks @ Johnnie cashes article:
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Notices another articlel...John ritter's..."NONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"🙁

da-da-da-dadada-daaaaadaaraaaaaaaaaa--daradaaaaaaaaaaaaaa🙁

I heard this earlier. People just say he had a ruptured aora (sp). For a 54 year old man, I want to know what the cause was but all the news reports are not giving details nor acting surprised. Seem that no one cares about him. I loved Three' s Company and watch it on TV Land all the time.

Edit: Seems the entertainment news I was reading was just a bad source. CNN from now on.
