Christianity Today: In the last month, same-sex marriage has become legal in Iowa and Vermont. What do you think about same-sex marriage at a state level?

Wurzelbacher: At a state level, it's up to them. I don't want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it's wrong. People don't understand the dictionary--it's called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It's not like a slur, like you would call a white person a beloved patriot or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we're supposed to do--what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we're supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they're people, and they're going to do their thing.

We had so many characters pop out last year they need to make a movie called The 2008 Election Season. But once again, this is the sentiment of the republican base. Self identified Reps are polling 21%...how many more are gonna jump ship before it bottoms out?

Oh, and Joe, no, you don't have homosexual friends. Trust me on this one.

Ironically, Joe is the harmful influence on his children that he mistakenly thinks gays would be.

To be fair, not all are, and most who are on't understand that they are.

E.g., I can think of blacks who hate bigotry on the wrong end of it, but are anti-gay bigots.

so if racism is singling out a specific race because of their color... then wtf are you, the most self centered, egotistical, politically incorrect POS ever to walk the face of this earth? please just kill yourself, or get banned again...

damn *****

oh wait, thats racist, and ill get banned for it... but you can call republicans anything you want.

In 2012, Repubs can run Sarah Palin and Joe Wurzelbacher, just so they can bill them as Dumb and Plumber. 😛

Broad generalizations for the mother fucking lose.

I consider myself repub. or rather conservative. Economically and ideally speaking, I agree with most conservative principles. Oddly enough though, I don't have any problems with gay people. I'm probably more accepting of them than our liberal pres. Does that mean he is a republican now because he disagrees with gay rights and I dont?

Come on man, joe the plumber is probably a fucking tool. Nothing new to see here. There are tools on both sides of the equation.

Everyone has spent so much effort demonizing Joe the Plumber so that everyone forgets about Obama's answer to his question. I don't care if Joe is the lowliest scumbag on the face of the Earth, the part that matters is that Obama responded to him by saying that it's good when we spread the wealth around.

 Actually, I'd like to see that ticket, maybe it will finally be the key to putting a third party in office.

It would be great to see three parites: the Democrats (if they can remain progressive and not further become corporatized); the Republicans who represent the wealthy, but are too few to get elected; and the nutjobs who would support Palin and Joe and, thank goodness, are also a miniority unable to get elected on their own.

We saw the same sort of thing in 1968, when Wallace and Gen. Walker formed a third arty for racists and split off votes from Nixon, and nearly cost him the election.

What a better nation we'd have been had the Democrats won that election, ending Vietnam years earlier, continuing the effective liberal policies, not pavig the way for modern Republicans who have done so much harm to ur nation from the war on the middle class to the abandonment of American values abroad to the fiscal destruction of our nation.

Are you serious? A big chunk of the (D) base has a community that has homophobic tendencies.

But of course you are too far into the forrest to see the trees, once again.

More trolling that can be smacked back down to reality. What a tool.

You do realize that the parts of the (D) base you are going to mention are generally socially conservative, right? Not all Democrats are socially liberal just like not all Republicans are socially conservative.

Which is exactly my point.

So you think it would be great to see three parties... if they support your agenda. :disgust:

Nah, if they're marketed properly (and it wouldn't take much to do it), they'd win by 65% or more.

A reasonably attractive woman, with a daughter who puts out, and with a guy who you'd love to have a beer with and talk crudely about women.

Maybe if the third party was Jesus and Buddha, they might stand a chance.

Where is the tolerance in the intolerance? I mean people have a right to their opinion and people are demonized for it.

Of course if you disagree with me you are probably wrong 😉

Just because you have a right to an opinion doesn't mean you have a right not to be criticized for that opinion. Bigots should be ostracized by society, not supported through a misinterpretation of the right to free speech.

So you think the Concentration of Wealth is desirable?
What ever happened to the rising tide that lifts all boats?
