Americans don't want to work unless they are getting a decent wage like $18 or more an hour. $15 just isn't gonna do it, not any more, not since billionaires have seen their wealth skyrocket from Trump tax breaks and perks. The real problem is that people are simply sick and angry at businesses for expecting someone to work hard labor at low wage, and then to earn enough to survive that low wage worker must work 80+ hours a week just to survive. Business is all about greed and paying slave labor, but we have come far too far in the last year for workers to put up with that crap anymore. Workers want $18 - $25 an hour to start. And THAT is for flipping burgers or delivering pizza. The illegals were willing to do those crappy jobs for the crappy wages, but not Americans.... oh no... not anymore more. No sir.... F...THAT, they say. If America wants the burgers, and the pizza, and the drive-thru window, then illegals must be allowed back in to the country. Like, a lot of illegals back into the country. Let them in, give them a right to work visa, allow them go to work and be willing to work the crappy jobs that no American will work. Lets just see a republican business owner agree to THAT because they will. They are hurting.

Umm no. The problem is we are paying would be fast food workers so much in unemployment, its much more profitable to sit on ass and get paid to do nothing. Fast food was never meant to be a career unless you work your way up the "food chain" and parlay that leadership role into a job somewhere else.

Its about gaining experience when you are young and (likely) living with your parents or going to school part time/full time. Building into something better. It was not really meant to be something you can retire on, unless you YOLO your paychecks on Gamestop.
