Houses are expensive, but actually the market is quite good right now.

I owned a 3 bedroom/2ba and got that for $115K a few years back but that was Big Island.
You could get something really decent for like $250K but the prices do go quite high as compared
to the mainland....depending where on Oahu.

is there much competition for IT work there on the islands ? I can't imagine too many people because of the population, but there can't be too many companies in need either.
