Which part of our ecomony crashed as a result of Trumps win?

Did you forget when stocks tanked thousands of points in late 2018 due to Trump's statements?

And like NWRMidnight said, there are signs Trump is trying to prop up an economy that isn't as strong as it looks. Let's put it this way: my financial advisor recommended a few months ago that I switch to a conservative portfolio for a while because there were signs of looming economic trouble. Trump knows he has nothing going for him if there's a recession, and his goal appears to be to delay or mask that recession through November.

I don’t think he has crashed our economy but I do think his incompetence has hurt it and hurt our ability to respond to future crises.

He is achieving modestly worse job growth than Obama and equivalent wage growth at the cost of a deficit that’s 70% higher. That’s pretty bad! Even worse, that debt was effectively wasted on shit like stock buybacks instead of roads, tunnels, clean energy, and schools.

Same economy as Obama but with way higher deficits? If someone wants to argue that’s a success then feel free.

I didn't make a claim that either of those were true.

As I stated before:

Trump was supposed to crash the economy.
He didn't.

Trump was supposed to start WW3.
He didn't.

Trumps trade war's were going to kill US and foreign trade.
It didn't.

Well then, I'm sure you'll agree then that if Trump couldn't fuck it up then no Democrat can either.

Trump: We're Going To See Economic Growth Of 4, 5 And Maybe 6 Percent
2019: 2.1%

Trump has exploded the deficit... and gotten nothing in return. Trump is a failure. Do you endorse his failure?

Soooo....thats your defination of a crash? Jesus Christ man. You are deluded beyond redemption.

edit: and to answer yourt question...he's failed on some succeeded on others. He's not failed on the economy at all. His failure was not being as aggressive on illegal immigration as Obama was.

Is it an emotional defense that causes you to attack that strawman?
I said nothing of a crash. I am attacking Trump's policy.

He's not failed on the economy at all.

Trump has failed to deliver what he promised. The GDP is the same as under Obama. However, deficits are skyrocketing under Trump.

Economically, Republicans do nothing to help our people.

What part of the economy did Trump improve or turn around that wasn't already heading in a positive direction?

I keep hearing about all these new jobs.
I never actually see them when I go looking.
Are they being re-acquired by boomers who don't like retirement? Immigrants? Trumps family? Robots?

None. But, if you remember, the media and folks in this very board as I've pointed out, said everything would crash if Trump were elected. Bzzzzzzd wrong.

And America would be doing better with a lower deficit if Obama was still President. Trump is bad for America, and for economic reasons needs to be voted out.

Sorry but you're wrong. Straight away. The country is doing well. On all aspects.

Correct answer. Trump has done NOTHING to improve the economy. Took you way too long to conclude that.

I went back and did a search on the following "economy", Trump", crash" and guess what? Nobody said if Trump were elected the economy would crash.

What Trump can do is fuck up a good deal handed to him from Obama. With things like the failed trade war with China causing a new welfare program and the exploding deficit to pay for tax cuts for the rich, he is on his way.

Because we're piling on a $1 trillion plus in debt every year. And that's just govt debt.
Sorry. Deficits don't matter. The country is doing well. If that's wrong tell me what's bad for Americans.

I've already quoted not only this board but news sources that said that exact thing.

Deficits were on their way down under Obama.

By all aspects do you mean economy only because white terrorism has spiked under Trump.

Oh and continues to spike...

Instead of tax cuts for the rich exploding the deficit if we put the money in something that would create economic multiplier like infrastructure then deficits would matter much less.

Meanwhile all those millionaires have not helped the middle class by raising wages they have been laying off people.

What's bad for Americans is putting partisan spite ahead of what's good for America.
