After Halloween, we left our jack-o-lanterns out for the animals. It turns out that our animals don't like pumpkins. :p So the pumpkins sat there for a week until coyote finally carried them off yesterday.

Do you know what it did with them?
It dragged them down the wash a bit, didn't eat them. Coyotes mess with stuff just to mess with stuff. We had a desert tortoise die on our land a couple years ago. We left the carapace in a rock house to dry out and weather naturally. The coyotes move it around from time to time.

i thought you guys loved room temperature beer in the UK ;)
It's not a general thing. I much prefer room temp Guinness to tasteless refrigerated Guinness, but there's a lot of piss lager-drinking guys in the UK and AFAIK the general preference for that stuff here is to drink it cold. I wouldn't like to guess what most stout (similar to Guinness) drinkers prefer though, because 'Guinness Extra Cold' is a thing that exists (and it's often the only Guinness choice in a given pub).

Here in Australia if you don't get frost bite on your tongue, the beer is too warm....

I like cellar temp for beer, maybe around 55°F. I don't drink much beer though, and I when I do, I prefer it heavy and dark.
