Death by rooster spur?

In other critter fightin news, rats in Germany have been documented hunting bats. Just grabbing them right out of the air and running off with them. And not to be outdone, there are bats in Spain that eat birds. They consume them on the hoof too, no landing. They bite the wings off so they're easier to handle apparently. Like a moth. :worried:
Chickens apparently hate rodents, and will fuck them up if they get in their purview. I've had people that own chickens tell me they destroy mice.

They do, but go re-watch the video. That rat was stupid enough to attack the apex predator in the room. It took it's best shot and got gutted for it. I think it could have backed out of there when it first saw the bird, but did not.
We had chickens and they would rip a mouse to bits in seconds because they are good eating, yum.

I've always had a lot of respect for jack cravelles, they are pound for pound one of the hardest fighters you can find. You land a 12lb jack and you're surprised, by the power of that pull you're expecting a 20-30ish lb fish, they're crazy. The polar opposite of seatrout, light tackle afficionados beware. I've always made a point of immediate release, they don't deserve to be bait.
