That cargo hold is WRECKED
I noticed it's an Antonov, and I wondered how many of them are still in use. Didn't they only build a few?

Edit: I think that's just that overly massive model they produced that I was thinking of, that 'largest cargo plane" variety.

Antonov An-225 Mriya...only a single plane was ever built. And of course Russians destroyed it when they invaded Ukraine.

"The only completed An-225 was destroyed in the Battle of Antonov Airport during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. On 20 May 2022, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced plans to complete the second An-225 to replace the destroyed aircraft; Antonov announced plans to rebuild the destroyed aircraft in November 2022."

Biggest, heaviest plane ever.

It will carry 42,000 pounds of cargo, a fraction of an M1. It will haul 2~3 humvees.
From googling how many tanks in a c130
A C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft can carry two M1 Abrams main battle tanks. The C-130 has a maximum payload capacity of 130 tons, and each Abrams tank weighs 68 tons. This means that the C-130 has enough weight capacity to carry two Abrams tanks, but not enough space to carry more than two.Jul 1, 2021

If those figures are accurate, two tanks would overload the plane by 6 tons, and that's if you're carrying nothing else.

Abrams can be moved one at a time with C-17s, you can do two in a C5 if they are stripped down a bit. But yeah, Abrams ain't goin anywhere in a Hercules. A single SEPv3 comes in around 73 tons I do believe.

Even the M-10 Booker won't be able to catch a ride in a C-130, still too heavy and it's going to be roughly half the weight of an Abrams.

Well gentlemen, I provided my citation. If it's wrong, I guess it's wrong.

It happens. Least you didn't get behind and quote either a nut or conman like I did, over mangoes. Anyway I looked it up just to be sure, on Lockheed's site. The current J model has the best engines yet, and the max payload weight listed is 42,000lbs.

C-130J is a fine ride, hard to beat at that price point for reliability and flexibility. Huge worldwide adoption for a reason - they're great. AF has the Spectre gunships and Marines use K model tanker for the Harvest Hawk+, another scary variant you don't want to piss off. They will be a Rapid Dragon platform alongside C-17s too. Might not be transporting many tanks, but NATO gets attacked and they'll be up for some al dente hate delivery for sure.
