Pretty sure it's just neutral buoyancy, momentum and being rrreally slippery when wet. I know sea lions can cover a lot of water with very little effort if they want to, I'm guessing seals are similar in that regard even if not as idk, athletic?

Kuno here saved a UKSF assault element from a determined AQ sentry, running thru gunfire and grenades and still mauled the guy who had them all pinned outside the compound they were trying to kick in. This dog literally saved lives and the mission. Hit several times, lost parts, but they saved him during evac. Sporting latest in pupper prosthetics now, also about to be decorated with the PDSA.
