We had to do a hazmat cleanup (illegal dump) adjacent to school a couple years ago. We called the principal ahead of time to let her know that they weren't going to die, at least we hoped not.

Hazmat is something else. Most of the time it's mundane but every once in a while you're just working and pull out a jar and you're like " HOLY FUCK, URANIUM!". Maybe you get really lucky and you find the last reagent for that experiment you saw on youtube....
