Man I hope that was choreographed, but it seems out of place given insurance needs and the youngsters in the crowd. I think I read he was fine.

Yeah watching that again, I'd say his most immediate threat was his skull passing a few inches from that concrete edge. Could have cracked his dome right open, show over for good.

In that video he says he was kinda worried as right there the gators were trained to nip at his feet, at that precise spot in the enclosure. I'm still a little surprised he didn't catch at least one or two "reaction bites." He probably does spend a lot of time with them, sounds like a hardcore reptile dork to me.
