They're not so bad, the GF and I rocked out the soylent bags a few years back (can't believe it's been that long). They work for what they are, good for easy lunches. Our bodies respond better to low/no carb, though, so we stopped.

I personally have pretty fucking bad reactions to high sugar/carb diets, in the form of absolutely dire gas buildup. Like 'pipeline coming from the distant north' gas buildup. Doesn't really matter if it's Soylent or fruit/starchy veggies. The GF just didn't feel like she wanted to drink grey water and gain weight (she responds better to low-carb in general).

Well, ain't that something. The only reason I mention it is that one of the primary issues with switching to an all-soylent diet is that such communities report a rather disastrous amount of chronic gas, with increased toxic odor, for the first 3 or 4 months, at least.

Yep, and that was something I was aware of moving into it to begin with, but it's something I've historically had issues with, regarding other foodstuffs.
