When I used to travel a lot for work I'd see this kind of stupidity way too often. What didn't happen here that normally is included is the guy throwing a fit and insisting to the airline people that he knew what he was doing. I can't count how many times I've seen someone do something this stupid and still scream at airline people on how broken the plane must be. Watching it gives you this odd pairing of sadness and annoyance that is on it's own level.
