Ladies and gentlemen! I give you, the amazing Josh Carney!
Crazy skills, what range. I got him on the moose call I think, but I can't even approach some of those other calls. He's not using any tools either. And check out that chair! If he isn't prepared for Halloween with a HISS tank chair mod, well, he should be.
There is a guy from the east coast who is hands down, the most amazing bird caller I've every heard. I listened to an interview with him once and I simply could not believe my ears. He'll walk out into the woods, identify the 2 or 3 species closest to him in the bushes, and let loose with different calls and song and within seconds these little thrushes, finches, junkos, etc are flying right up to him, landing on his shoulders and head, bouncing around like some damn Disney cartoon. He's like oh yeah, I basically yelled out in bird "All clear, hey look seeds" He knows how to fool hundreds of species Have to find this guy now. Any of you know who I'm talking about? The other distinction I remember of him, from the interview, was that he was supposed to have been an extra in the movie Kingpin, for a scene involving a talent show. Guy was too talented though, he stole the show so they cut it.
Edit: Interview I heard was in 2006, his name is, was, Jim Soules. He passed away in 2008 at age 85.

I am completely engrossed in his story now, his incredible talent and all the secrecy involved when he helped clients and cities.
