Well personally I would have noticed that there weren't any brakes and no room for any real deceleration before quite literally hitting the wall. You have to admire how little fucks she gives though, she didn't even wear a helmet.

Well you could also assume that there were reasons here, like drunk or high off whatever. I haven't done that, don't think I would, but I can't swear to what blackout me may or may not do. Or no-thought only-do teenage me for that matter (pretty sure they remain one and the same). But I would like to think that, if I found myself in that situation, careening at high speed toward a hard wall with no maneuverability or braking, in a shopping cart of all things, I'd probably try to just crash the cart before the wall, like flip it over while I'm still in it, or try to bail without tipping it over while I'm still in it. Again, one probably resembles the other there, especially if inebriated or hopped up on goofballs.
