The last two games I bought on Steam were Doom and XCOM.

XCOM (assuming 'ufo enemy unknown / enemy defense'): You're better off downloading OpenXCOM for free as it's an order of magnitude less buggy than the dosbox version. I think you need a few folders from a 'proper' install though, so your purchase still comes in handy IIRC.

XCOM 2 and Doom 2016, (although I did buy the Steam Dosbox version several years ago).

Just remarking that back in 1994 I would have been playing Doom and XCOM. Now in 2018 I’m still playing Doom and XCOM.

Ah :) Same, though I haven't bought Doom 2016 yet, I intend to.
