I think I've figured out the problem with this thread.

Funny pictures inevitably cause people to want to comment on them. However, with enough people to provide an adequate supply of pictures, you will inevitably end up with even more people to view them and make comments.

If only there was a better format...one that streamlined the pictures, and organized the comments as their own separate thing, for people to choose to read or not read. Discussions that many may not want to see could easily be ignored; and especially funny comments would automatically be at the top.

Alas, I have dreamed a dream, but it is not to be.

Another way to clean up this thread though is to put Scholzpdx on your ignore list. He never posts anything worthwhile and seems to take joy in the further degradation of this thread.
