Another way to clean up this thread though is to put Scholzpdx on your ignore list. He never posts anything worthwhile and seems to take joy in the further degradation of this thread.

I think you may have missed the point of my post, which I had thought was not-so-subtle. I was describing imgur.

Don't get me wrong, I love this thread. It is, at times, pure, filtered, concentrated internet goodness. But most of the time it's just people posting the front page of imgur...which is why I don't usually post pictures. 'Meh, if it's on the front page of imgur, it's old news...'
