Metalcore is the opposite of sacred.

Nothing wrong with metalcore. It just has bad associations. Like Nu-metal. Or whatever Nickelback is.

I say if deftones were nu-metal, then nu-metal was great and eff you.

As far as metalcore, it's a pretty wide spectrum of 'mash-up' genres, often having elements of more straight-up hard rock and metal, plus melodic death metal, post-hardcore...rock/metal genres are just impossible anymore.

Also, I don't get the 'bigger on he inside' thing. At all. I mean...I...get it? I guess? But is there, like, a punchline? Can someone put the two-legged dog gif at the end or something?
