I would never wear something that said Neff. It sounds like Narf.

They were going to steal the gas and the attendant was trying to write down the plate number. There was a news article on it in the last week or so.

Not that I doubt you, but the video makes it look more like the attendant was going to attack them with the fire extinguisher.

don't you normally need to pay first before they activate the pump?

I think this really depends on the area you live in. Around here it is rare to see a pay first before pumping type gas station. I often pay cash, and they activate the pump, I fill up, and then walk inside to pay.

His life savings consisting of $2600?... Why was he carrying $300 with him if he only had $2600 in his name. My faith in humanity is gone.

fuck him. i'm glad he lost it. anyone stupid enough to not go and straight up buy an xbox instead of throw everything you had away to try and win one is a fucking idiot and deserves what cautionary tale they become.

Oh... I read the story headline only over the week and thought someone tried to jack the car while she was filling up. Idiots...

I also find it amazing that someone with that much sense would manage to amass an amount as high as $2600.

Gribbohm, who managed to win a stuffed banana with dreadlocks before dropping $2,600, says he's considering a lawsuit.
Who's he suing? His parents, for not using birth control?

You'd think that after wasting the first $10, you might decide to try another game.

I bet he could sign that banana thing and put it up on eBay, and make up a decent bit of money, given all the attention that this has gotten now.
