the critic seems to think that a caption is somehow relevant in this case.

actors' license. they play a role--you can tell what they are saying if you are into dialect and manarism, that is.

It matters more if you don't know the show, the context, the characters, the actors or the story line.

I recognize the characters, but don't really know the show. (haven't seen one episode, yet)



The point, I think, is that the dialogue is quite ridiculous.
