A friend of mine ate at her restaurant. He said that many southern gas stations have better food (many have warming trays filled with the same type of food she sells). Only fat idiots eat her crap.
That wouldn't surprise me. Back when I had a 30 miles commute, there was one gas station that had a better breakfast than any restaurant in the area. Unless I lived in Savannah, I don't think I would ever bother to even try her place, given the abundance of great food and atmosphere around, though, so I can't directly compare.

There's (was?) a gas station near the IP plant in Courtland, AL. They scratch made biscuits every morning and served a few different kind of breakfast sandwiches. Dee-licious.
