Actually it is armored. Saw some kind of article on who uses armored vehicles and his name was there.
Seems he gets lots of death threats, and a couple of people were arrested planning his assassination about 10-12 years ago.

I figured as much. With some of his buddies getting killed and MLK, and his high profile.

From what I heard, depending how it's done you can almost double mass of vehicle because every piece of armor needs beefier suspension, motor, drive train, tyranny etc. Making 12MPG 7-8 MPG with a gas motor. Diesel would be way to go but that is too country for JJ.

You can understand the anger, though--it would essentially force some people to leave their homes if they want to remain within Detroit, or give up their homes to development for the re-structuring.


Present-day Detroit is basically like you starting a game of Sim City with $200k and over-expanding the city by 50-60%. Nothing ever develops b/c the population is spread out, far too much development for far too many people, resources spread way too thin (police, fire, education) little to no connection between neighborhoods. etc. and when you do that in Sim City, the residentials tend to develop into ghetto tiles.

I'm going to guess that if they actually went through and demo'ed all the houses that would be considered condemned once inspected, those people left with a house or so every couple of blocks wouldn't then feel as bad about moving.

I don't mind spitting right back in your face the garbage I have read here over the 10 years. Find one thread I have started that had to deal with race ranting. Find one? I have had only one name ever since being here too. So do the search. I believe the only thread I have started that ever surrounded anything race related was when the KKK wanted to do road cleanup.
